Separation of grease is a result of grease and sewages gravity separation, which occurs when sewages flow through a separator. Grease particles have lower density than water. That’s why they gather on the surface of water. Other sewages of density higher than water descend on the bottom. Stainless steel profiles placed on the outlet and inlet of separator prevent separated grease substances from going out a separator.
