Lamella separators are produced to separate petroleum derivative matters from waters flowing inside rain drainage. Construction of a device stops descending suspension, which gathers in sludge chamber. Recommendations of Environmental Protection Institute in Warsaw described concentration of suspended solids supplied to separator up to 100 mg/dm3. Rain water flows to separator by inlet chamber and then goes to separation chamber (middle chamber of a device). Sewages flow to separation chamber by holes located in lower part of a chamber. Sewages are separated in flotation and sedimentation process during horizontal flow of polluted water through licensed lamella sections (shutters).
