The use of wireless data transmission for monitoring and remote control of the installed equipment allows full functional inspection in real time (on-line) of the realised technological processes. The user of such a system can at any time check the current status of the pumping station operation as well as analyse historical data. In the event of a breakdown, power failure or burglary, the user can promptly react to disturbances in the process and undertake appropriate actions in order to restore correct operation.

Additionally, monitoring of the facility via SMS is a reliable method of information transfer regarding the pumping station status. The SMS modem can send information to 8 mobile phone numbers. It supervises simultaneously 8 signals from the control board (pump breakdown, burglary, overflow, dry run and power supply). It cooperates with speech synthesisers and can send an emergency call in the form of a voice announcement.
